Young’s Point Radio Control  Flying Club (YPRCFC) had an absolutely awesome and successful summer for members and guests. YPRCFC has seen new members, young and old (well, we say were middle age) supported by a great team of  flight instructors. Even in the cold weather of winter the flying continues on the snow and with skies. The club continues to offer FREE flight training to all new club members.

The Young’s Point Radio Control Flying Club field is located on County Road #25; at the junction of County Road #20 (12th Line Smith) and County Road #25 (Young’s Point Rd.).

Our GPS coordinates are 44°28’48.2″N 78°15’02.9″W

No matter where you are along your interest in RC flight the Young’s Point Radio Control Flying Club provides members and guests with a great flying site.  With “east/west” and “north/south” well groomed grass runways you can have your choice of takeoff and landing directions to suit the wind, and your skill level.  The flying field also includes a covered (shaded) and uncovered observation area for guests and members waiting to fly, or just those who have dropped in to spend an hour with friends. The pits offer several uncovered table stations where members and guests can start their RC Model and complete their pre-flight inspection and range tests prior to taxing to the designated flying area and runways.
The YPRCFC is a small diverse group of easy-going individuals from all walks of life who have an interest in radio control flying of airplanes, helicopters and quad copters (drones). We all come to the field to have fun and mingle with new and old friends. The YPRCFC is a place where members, guests, families and friends always feel welcome.
Pilots are always willing to share their experiences; and when requested, willingly mentor and/or train prospective pilots. YPRCFC also has flight instructors offering all new members a MAAC” (Model Aeronautics Association of Canada)  formal “Wings Training Program – see  Wings Program Guidelines“.
Please feel free to come on out for some good social fun and meet some of the gang at the field. All skill levels are welcomed, even if you cannot yet flyand if you would like to learn the skill of Radio Controlled Flying, we will teach you…  🙂
